NordSpace Ventures has invested in North Vector Dynamics, a Calgary-based defence technology company developing Canada's first sovereign missile capability. The investment strengthens collaboration between the two Canadian-owned firms, both members of a Department of National Defence-backed Hypersonic Innovation Micro-net. North Vector Dynamics holds a C$4.2 million contract from Defence Research and Development Canada to advance hypersonic propulsion technologies. The company specialises in precision interception, autonomy, and advanced propulsion, producing the ITAR-free CM-70 interceptor. The partnership focuses on defence applications of NordSpace's rocket propulsion technology and Canadian hypersonic research. NordSpace will provide its Hadfield-150 engine infrastructure to support NVD's development.
