Callan Family Office announces strategic partnership with Vanilla to advance estate planning for ultra-high-net-worth families. Callan Family Office today announced a strategic partnership with Vanilla, combining Callan Family Office's decades of experience serving ultra-high-net-worth families with Vanilla's leading estate planning technology platform. As family wealth becomes increasingly complex, estate planning technology must evolve alongside it. Many of today's tools were built for traditional wealth planning, while ultra-high-net-worth families often require support for multigenerational wealth transfers, trusts, family entities, private investments, and sophisticated ownership structures. Through this partnership, Callan Family Office LLC is investing in the future of estate planning technology and collaborating with Vanilla to develop capabilities designed specifically for the needs of ultra-high-net-worth families, family offices, and their advisors.
Vanilla, an estate planning platform for financial advisors, has partnered with Worthy, an AI-native tax intelligence platform, to integrate tax and estate planning services. Vanilla customers will receive special pricing for Worthy's platform. The partnership addresses the interconnection between tax and estate planning, enabling advisors to evaluate complex scenarios including estate tax implications, trust taxation and multi-generational wealth optimisation. Worthy's AI-native platform ingests client tax data and allows advisors to model Roth conversions, equity compensation decisions and trust structures dynamically. Unlike legacy tax tools offering static snapshots, Worthy provides real-time planning capabilities. When combined with Vanilla's estate planning features, advisors can deliver comprehensive wealth planning with client-ready reports. The integration aims to help advisors surface opportunities and deepen client conversations across both estate and tax planning domains.
Vanilla, the most trusted platform in modern estate planning, today announced significant enhancements to its AI suite, delivering a new level of intelligence and scale to the estate planning workflow.
Vanilla, the estate planning technology provider, has appointed a new chief marketing officer, Joe Abbott, as well as a new chief of staff and vice president of operations, Hanna Grokenberger Byers.
Vanilla, an estate-planning platform, closed a $35M funding round led by Insight Partners, with contributions from Venrock, Vanguard, Edward Jones Ventures, Nationwide, Allianz, and new investor Alumni Ventures. This follows a $30M funding by competitor Wealth.com. Vanilla also announced an integration with eMoney, allowing automatic data import and synchronization for financial advisors. The integration is in limited release and will be generally available soon.
