Real-time temperature tracking for pharma shipping

Overview

Ember Life Sciences provides temperature-control solutions for shipping temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products. Its Ember Cube is a reusable cooling device that works with a cloud-based SaaS dashboard, using cellular radio and GPS to deliver real-time data on location, temperature, and humidity. A return-to-sender feature helps cut shipping waste by replacing single-use materials such as Styrofoam, ice packs, and cardboard. The company uses a subscription-based model, charging recurring fees for its platform and services. Its goal is to improve precision, control, and accuracy in temperature-sensitive pharma shipping, differentiating itself through integrated hardware and real-time visibility that supports a circular logistics approach.
