Prediction market Myriad closes seed round, moves to World Liberty's USD1 stablecoin

Prediction market Myriad has closed a seed funding round with investors including MoonPay Ventures, Auros, EVG, Verda Ventures and Fundstrat co-founder Tom Lee. The specific amount was not disclosed. The company, owned by Decrypt's parent company Dastan, is transitioning to World Liberty Financial's USD1 stablecoin as its exclusive settlement asset. Myriad is migrating its entire prediction market catalogue to BNB Chain as part of what it calls "Season 3", featuring significant technology upgrades. The move aims to deliver faster and simpler operations for the platform.

Utexo raises $7.5M led by Tether to enable native USDT settlements on Bitcoin

Utexo, a Bitcoin-native stablecoin settlement platform, has raised $7.5 million in a seed round co-led by Tether, Big Brain Holdings and Portal Ventures. Franklin Templeton, Maven11 Capital and Fulgur Ventures were among the participants. The Dubai-based startup enables native USDT settlement directly on Bitcoin and the Lightning Network, with transactions completing in under one second. The platform uses a single API layer that combines Bitcoin, Lightning and RGB protocols, allowing payment operators to route USDT settlements without managing underlying technical complexity. Utexo's infrastructure offers fixed, predictable fees paid in USDT that don't fluctuate with network congestion. Transactions are executed privately with only encrypted data written on-chain. The company targets payment service providers, exchanges, wallets and trading firms already moving large USDT volumes.

TestMachine raises $6.5M to expand AI blockchain security platform Predator, now integrated into Coinbase

TestMachine, an AI-driven blockchain security company, has raised $6.5 million in venture funding led by Blockchange Ventures, Decasonic, Delphi Ventures and New Form Capital. Additional investors include Baboon, UDHC, Auros Global, Generative Ventures, Contango Digital and Santiago Santos. The New York-based company will use the funds to expand its flagship platform, Predator, which has been fully integrated into Coinbase's token security and deployment process. The platform scans millions of tokens across multiple risk factors daily, analysing assets for risks in seconds. According to a Coinbase blockchain security engineer, Predator achieved 100% accuracy during evaluation with no false positives or negatives, outperforming other publicly available tools. The platform is used by Coinbase's centralised exchange and newly launched decentralised exchange trading feature.
