ABOUT THE ROLE:
Teague’s Project Managers lead the charge on multi-disciplinary projects—driving day-to-day execution across timelines, budgets, teams, and client communications. With a sharp eye for detail and a strong appreciation for design, you’ll collaborate with creative and program leaders to deliver impactful, on-time, and on-budget results.
You’ll manage scopes up to $1M and guide teams of 1–20 people, ensuring seamless coordination and standout outcomes that exceed client expectations. Success in this role means being organized, communicative, and relentlessly focused on delivering quality. This person will primarily support Teague’s Customer Introduction teams.
5% Business travel required for project-related, business development, and/or industry engagements.
WHO YOU ARE:
You’re a proactive, organized, and collaborative project manager who thrives in creative, fast-moving environments. With at least two years of experience leading complex design or product development projects, you know how to drive work from kickoff to delivery—on time, on budget, and on point.
You think strategically, communicate clearly, and bring teams together to make things happen. You’re comfortable building project plans, managing budgets, and navigating client needs with professionalism and care. You balance structure with flexibility, and you’re passionate about supporting great design through smart execution.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
OWNING
- Collaborate closely with creative directors, program and project managers, design leads, and client partners to build strong, effective working relationships.
- Represent Teague with professionalism and care—championing both client goals and internal team success through clear communication and thoughtful collaboration.
- Help clients understand and navigate Teague’s capabilities, offering tailored insights that align with their evolving needs and goals.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of accountability by learning from mistakes, seeking feedback, and continuously improving execution through self-reflection and growth.
- Present work with care and attention to detail, reliably following processes and showing dependability in both independent and team-based responsibilities.
- Navigate and de-escalate challenging client situations with professionalism, working to restore trust and strengthen relationships.
- Support business development efforts by expanding opportunities within existing key accounts.
THINKING
- Partner with program management and creative leadership to define clear project strategies, goals, scopes, and deliverables that align with client objectives and business priorities.
- Develop accurate project estimates and resourcing plans using sound judgment and structured decision-making; proactively assess risks and maintain alignment with Teague’s AQS quality standards.
- Scope and frame new projects in partnership with clients, developing detailed plans for budgets, timelines, resourcing, and deliverables that support success from the outset.
- Maintain a well-organized and current project log, proactively planning for shifting needs and ensuring visibility into future demands.
- Balance creativity with process discipline, ensuring that innovations enhance project outcomes without compromising on rigor or quality.
- Share performance insights with Design Managers to support team development and growth.
DOING
- Apply foundational knowledge of project management to complete tasks accurately and on time using standard project management tools and processes.
- Champion the use of standardized project management practices and tools, including the Design Management Framework, to drive consistency and quality across teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources, partnering with internal leadership to secure and adjust staffing and facilities as project demands evolve.
- Review proposals, contracts, and key deliverables to ensure alignment on scope, budget, and timelines across internal stakeholders.
- Monitor project health and provide regular updates on progress, risks, budgets, and milestones to ensure alignment and timely resolution of issues.
- Participate in internal and client-facing reviews, ensuring that feedback is addressed thoughtfully and outcomes meet or exceed expectations.
- Maintain organized, clear documentation that communicates goals, decisions, and plans in accessible formats that promote shared understanding.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- 2+ years of experience managing projects in design, product development, or a design consultancy environment. PMP certification a plus.
- Proven ability to lead complex, high-budget projects from kickoff through delivery—meeting timelines, staying within scope and budget, and upholding top-tier creative quality.
- Solid grasp of project management principles, with hands-on experience applying best practices, methodologies, and tools.
- Skilled in developing, managing, and tracking project budgets with financial accountability.
- Known for consistent follow-through, dependability, and a strong sense of ownership.
- Passionate about great ideas and inspired by the creative process.
- Acts as a trusted partner and brand ambassador, representing both Teague and our clients with integrity and care.

The salary range for this job in most US geographic locations is $100,500 - $125,000.

We are a Washington State-based company. All employees must reside in Washington (unless otherwise noted for specific roles) and be able to access one of our studio locations in the greater Seattle area.
