Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in analytics, analytics engineering, data science, or business intelligence.
  • 3+ years of experience working with external partners or clients in a data-facing role; consulting experience is preferred.
  • Expert technical proficiency in SQL, dbt, and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, or similar); Python or R is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of data pipelines, architecture, integration patterns, and warehousing best practices.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to think strategically, translate data into actionable recommendations, and effectively tell a story with data.
  • Project management mindset with the ability to build roadmaps and partner with engineering on the end-to-end delivery of data products; Jira is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills—you’re comfortable working across functions, can effectively advocate for data needs and concerns, and lead collaboration efforts.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the Data & Analytics team and our first carrier solutions client.
  • Help define the analytics roadmap and data architecture to support current and future carrier relationships.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Business Development, and Operations to ensure data is a strategic asset in driving the success of our Carrier Solutions platform.
  • Build scalable dashboards, reports, and data models to provide stakeholders and partners with access to timely, accurate insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across internal systems and in outbound data shared with Carrier Solutions.
  • Use your skills in SQL, Python, or R to build and deliver analysis that drives action—ranging from operational metrics to strategic insights about partnership performance.
  • Help define what a dedicated analytics team for this space could look like, including future resourcing and structure.

  • Experience in the insurance, benefits, or healthcare industries is a strong plus, especially in carrier-facing roles or platform environments.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a “build from scratch” mentality—you enjoy being hands-on, self-directed, and laying foundations for future growth.
