Requirements
  • A wealth of evidenced experience in a Sales environment with an in-depth knowledge of Transaction Banking product.
  • Consistent track record of successfully developing and delivering new business opportunities.
  • Have an excellent knowledge of the customer base and competitive environment, to provide client and market feedback to management and business partners, including for product development and enhancement and solution delivery.
  • Have a strong understanding of credit and risk.
  • A track record in managing strategic client and customer relationships, typically by using large account teams to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty toward the organisation.
  • Have significant experience engaging with senior business leaders and developing strategic solutions to long-term business needs by anticipating complex issues, challenges and opportunities.
  • Ability to recognise and understand opportunities across a large number of complex products, implement strategic solutions, and interlock with front line sales colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
  • Be capable of seeking, sharing, and embedding standard methodology, supporting and positively influencing across the Group.
  • Have good people management skills and a self-motivator and influencer, able to represent the organisation in a variety of industry and professional events forums.
Responsibilities
  • Achieving revenue by working with the Transaction Banking Solutions Corporate and Institutional Sales teams across the specialist product needs.
  • Developing & driving the delivery of a market-leading, joined up sales strategy, across the portfolio.
  • Leading a high performing, specialist team, developing colleagues through stretching performance objectives, feedback and coaching. Engaging with internal stakeholders and related product partners to deliver against strategy and maximise opportunities.
  • Ensuring adherence to group policy and regulatory requirements to protect the customers and the Group, whilst identifying, monitoring and mitigating commercial risks.
  • Building relationships with C-suite Senior Client Executives.
  • Proactively building and maintaining an external and internal network to support business delivery.
  • Spotting opportunities for and leading change to improve customer and commercial outcomes.
  • Overseeing the accurate and timely completion of the sales pipeline and revenue analysis processes, in accordance with defined and agreed goals and objectives.
  • Acting as a senior source of professional expertise to shape and deliver marketing plans and engagements at industry events and webinars.
  • Targeting prospective customers to develop new relationships and win new business, as well as advancing and maintaining close opportunities with existing clients, ensuring we remain as their trusted advisor.

Lloyds Launches Virtual Card Partnership With Taulia

SAP-owned working capital management solutions provider Taulia has launched a virtual card partnership with Lloyds. This collaboration will see the companies issue Visa-enabled virtual cards, embedded across a variety of solutions available with the SAP business suite, Taulia announced in a Thursday (March 27) news release. “Through the partnership, Lloyds will extend credit to customers who have purchased the Taulia Virtual Cards solution, allowing companies to issue virtual cards to suppliers worldwide in a seamless B2B payment process,” the release said. “Combining Taulia’s scalable technology with Lloyds’ reach, the partnership offers an innovative and fully embedded payment solution that caters to UK customer needs.”
