Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals

Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals

View

Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals develops medicines aimed at treating severe diseases by targeting and silencing the genes responsible for them. The company uses RNA interference (RNAi), a natural process that reduces the expression of specific genes, to achieve effective treatment outcomes. This method allows for significant and lasting reductions in the activity of harmful genes, which can help manage or even reverse diseases like cystic fibrosis and hepatitis B. Arrowhead stands out from its competitors by focusing specifically on RNAi-based therapies and leveraging a wide range of RNA chemistries and delivery methods. The company's goal is to address unmet medical needs by providing new treatment options for genetic disorders that currently lack effective therapies.
