Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field; advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in an engineering project management, or related role

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership in developing and executing against a UK licensing roadmap, with the goal of acquiring a nuclear license within two years
  • Act as the primary point of contact between Last Energy and the UK nuclear regulatory network, including the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR), Environment Agency (EA), and Natural Resources Wales (NRW)
  • Lead the preparation and quality check the submission of regulatory filings, license applications, and safety cases, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
  • Act as the main point of contact for 3rd party licensing firms, managing budgets, schedules, and deliverable quality
  • Monitor and address regulatory issues and concerns raised by internal and external stakeholders, and proactively identify and mitigate regulatory risks
