Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in designing and building complex integrated solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
  • Linux Operating system installation, configuration, troubleshooting, tuning, etc. is a must.
  • VMware and Kubernetes (or OpenShift Container Platform) experience is a must.
  • Good understanding of Big Data Analytics Ecosystem (Spark, etc.)
  • Good understanding of AI Machine Learning / Deep Learning hardware and software is a plus.
  • Good understanding of NoSQL database such as Splunk and MongoDB is a plus.
  • Good hardware knowledge and hands-on experience in servers, storage systems, and IP & SAN switches are a plus.
  • Good understanding of agile development processes and documentation is a plus.
  • Development experience with Python and UNIX shell scripting is a plus.
  • System testing experience is a plus.
  • Requires a BS degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
Responsibilities
  • Plan, design, implement, test, document, and support Hitachi iQ Infrastructure solutions in the lab.
  • Develop and deliver test plans, lab reports, technical presentations, and white papers to promote the Hitachi Vantara solutions.
  • Deliver proof-of-concept configurations and analysis to be demonstrated and presented to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Support, assist, and consult with all levels of Hitachi Vantara, including Account Executives, Product Management, Product Marketing, Product Support, VP, etc, through delivery of technical presentations and reports.

Hitachi Vantara Cto For Ai: What Many Enterprises Overlook That Blocks Ai Success

Companies investing in artificial intelligence will face increasing pressure to demonstrate returns on their investments in 2025 and beyond, according to Hitachi Vantara CTO for AI Jason Hardy. “ROI is going to be very important,” Hardy, who leads AI at the digital transformation arm of Japanese multinational firm Hitachi Global, told PYMNTS in an interview. While he doesn’t expect overall AI investment to decrease, Hardy believes the level of future funding will increasingly depend on demonstrable results. A 2024 PYMNTS Intelligence report validates his observations. While most CFOs surveyed were using generative AI for increasingly core business tasks, such as financial reporting, only 13% saw a “very positive” ROI.
