Requirements
  • Significant experience as a talent acquisition specialist within Engineering (Technology)
  • In depth understanding of hiring technical roles and knowledge of various tech stacks i.e. Java, Snowflake, C++, Cloud, SDN
  • Proven track record of being able to source and hire directly using ATS platforms (e.g. Beamery) and external sources (e.g. LinkedIn)
  • Ability to build strong partnerships with internal and external networks, based on mutual trust, courageous and informative advice, and consistent delivery
  • Strong business acumen with a commercial/pragmatic approach
  • Understanding and experience of cultural differences and their impact on business and organizational dynamics
  • Effective oral and written communication skills when taking care of management and employees at various organization levels, including senior management
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work across a large, diverse, and matrixed organization
  • Ability to take care of ambiguous and fluid situations

Responsibilities
  • Sourcing and attracting the very highest calibre engineering talent to LSEG
  • Partnering with hiring managers to develop a sourcing strategy for each role, ensuring regular communication and updates through the hiring journey
  • Ensuring standardization of engineering hiring processes and procedures
  • Ensuring quality of candidate and hiring manager experience through each hiring process
  • Developing and maintaining diverse talent pipelines in line with the businesses current and future requirements
  • Develop and implement innovative and creative solutions to sourcing and candidate management – including developing direct sourcing channels, employee referrals, advertising and other methods.Creativity is encouraged!
  • Partner closely with central sourcing team including market mapping and market intelligence data
  • Implement an internet and social media strategy campaign, evaluate funding sources and make proposals to ensure LSEG is appropriately positioned in the region
  • Ensure regular reporting of relevant recruiting metrics to assess efficiency of recruiting programs and talent hired
  • Ensuring data integrity, having 100% of all applications recorded on Workday and accurate reporting and metrics
  • Ensuring a high quality and consistent approach to job descriptions and job adverts, including providing training and mentorship to hiring managers
  • Partner with all divisions to leverage relationships across the company
  • Providing strategic market intelligence on hiring trends, competitor activity and salaries across the region
  • Be an advocate for our Inclusive Hiring practices
  • Participating and owning ad-hoc TA projects

Lseg’S Swapagent And Trafigura First To Open Gbp-Denominated Blockchain Deposit Accounts From Kinexys By J.P. Morgan

Kinexys by J.P. Morgan, the firm’s blockchain business unit, has launched GBP-denominated Blockchain Deposit Accounts on Kinexys Digital Payments in J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, N.A.’s London branch – one of the first blockchain products of its kind in the UK. SwapAgent Ltd (“SwapAgent”), an LSEG Post Trade Solutions business, and Trafigura will be the first clients to open London accounts on the platform, marking the first time in the UK that companies will actively be using blockchain accounts for 24/7 real-time payments and cross-border transactions.The new GBP-denominated blockchain accounts enable clients to conduct seamless cross-border transactions, including 24/7 foreign exchange (FX). Clients can access funds on demand with weekend processing and extended same-day FX settlements, offering enhanced flexibility, speed and efficiency. This launch follows the successful introduction of FX capabilities and EUR-denominated blockchain accounts in Frankfurt, further expanding Kinexys Digital Payments’ global solutions.SwapAgent will be opening Kinexys Digital Payments’ London blockchain accounts for its digital post trade services pilot project, and is considering opening additional blockchain accounts for its broader native offerings, allowing it to operate beyond traditional branch cut-off times and manage liquidity 24/7 in a programmable manner.“Integrating the innovative Kinexys Digital Payments blockchain deposit accounts into our SwapAgent offerings could allow us to operate beyond traditional branch cut-off times and manage settlements in a programmable manner in the future
