Requirements
- Bachelor's degree. In engineering, manufacturing, safety, environmental science, or industrial hygiene
- 2-5 years' previous experience in the health and safety field is desired, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Preparing and updating site HSE procedures and processes. Ensure alignment to Company requirements. Technical writing skills in updating and maintaining documents related to processes, procedures, and ISO
- Having experience or being familiar with ISO45001 and ISO14001
- Provide safety training for office, R&D and manufacturing employees
- Effectively demonstrates ability to deliver on complex situations or problems without guidance or supervision and possess critical thinking skills
- Some team oriented and effective public speaking skills
- Significant experience participating in risk assessments, HSE audits, and implementing HSE Management systems
- Significant knowledge of Cal-OSHA and HSE legislation
- Some knowledge of environmental and industrial hygiene practices, first aid practices, and HAZCOM
- Some experience conducting root cause analysis/incident investigations
- Significant oral, written, IT, and Microsoft Office skills

Responsibilities
- Leads programs for compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations and
- Requirements
- Provides compliance specifications/recommendations to Production Team
- Ensures accurate and timely environmental and safety recordkeeping and document
- Management including the submission of periodic reports to regulatory agencies
- Leads and/or assists with emergency response activities
- Interface with regulatory and public sector safety authorities as appropriate
- Participate in Safety Audits, JHA's and other elements of Plant/Process Safety Management
- Integral to sites' safety performance
- All other projects and duties as assigned
