Requirements
  • At least 3 years of hands-on development experience in web application development
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including frameworks such as Bootstrap or React)
  • Strong experience with WordPress theme development and plugin customization
  • Good understanding of PHP, particularly in a WordPress environment
  • Basic knowledge of Rails and working with Rails views and front-end integrations
  • Familiarity with responsive design principles, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility standards
  • Ability to work independently, arranging your work to meet deadlines
  • Passion for growing your skills, tackling interesting work, and challenging problems

  • Experience with front-end testing frameworks (preferred)
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement custom WordPress themes and plugins to enhance website functionality and user experience
  • Build, maintain, and optimize front-end components within our Rails applications
  • Collaborate with back-end developers and designers to create highly responsive, user-centric interfaces
  • Translate UI/UX designs into modern interfaces with efficient code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Optimize front-end performance to ensure fast load times and smooth interaction
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and adherence to accessibility standards
  • Conduct code reviews and participate in software development lifecycle
