- Minimum of 3 years of electrical controls and integration experience
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of processing equipment
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs (Allen Bradley Preferred), motor controllers, servo controllers, safety devices
- Programming required
- Proficient experience interpreting and understanding US and European electrical schematics with AutoCAD and Draftsight
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical people via reports, emails and verbal communication
- Strong curiosity and desire to learn new things
- Work closely with Reiser Engineering, Service, and our customers to understand and troubleshoot systems
- Work with the Reiser Development team on R&D projects and develop solutions within a team-based environment
- Understand how to electrically integrate our equipment into our customer’s manufacturing lines including power requirements, digital signal handshakes, Ethernet interconnects, and PLC programming
- Generate required documentation including manuals, and procedures on new projects
- Train our technicians and customers in the proper use, maintenance, and repair of the electrical and controls systems of our equipment
- Learn and understand how our supplier’s equipment control systems work
- This person must have the ability to work remotely and communicate with our customers’ machines via VPN and installed communication devices
- Previous experience with an equipment manufacturer - food industry experience is highly desirable
