Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in the financial industry.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to explain complex deal aspects to M&A attorneys effectively and promptly.
  • Experience prioritizing multiple tasks requiring a high level of attention to detail in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Working to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work within deadlines and complete work in a timely manner.
  • Ability to take ownership of issues and follow through to resolution.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team as required.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for deal onboarding inquiries related to the Shareholder Representative Services product.
  • Communicate with sell-side or buy-side M&A attorneys regarding post-closing follow-ups for various internal groups.
  • Perform wire callback verification for SRS Acquiom products.
  • Track pending and closed transactions.
  • Assist with executing agreements.
  • Onboard new deals by collecting M&A documents and materials and uploading them into the system of record.
  • Collect fees and funding from the closing of M&A transactions.
  • Respond promptly to client questions regarding accounts and other post-close issues.
  • Facilitate special projects related to onboarding M&A deals.
  • Assist internal teams with closing and closed-deal-related tasks as needed.
  • Complete reconciliations by reviewing the system of record and comparing it with reporting to ensure no task is missed.
  • Compile, analyze, and send reports to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal groups to ensure fees and wires are routed appropriately.
  • Perform other administrative or project-related duties as assigned.

Ms. Krawcheck and Mr. Vasan are deeply tenured financial services professionals who bring decades of leadership experience across public and private markets and complex transaction environments. Ms. Krawcheck is a prominent financial executive and entrepreneur. She is the co-founder and former CEO of Ellevest, a digital-first investment platform for women. Previously, she held senior leadership roles across global financial institutions, including serving as CEO of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, Smith Barney, U.S. Trust, the Citi Private Bank, and Sanford C. Bernstein. She also served as Chief Financial Officer of Citigroup. Earlier in her career, Ms. Krawcheck was a top-ranked equities research analyst covering the securities industry and is widely recognized for her leadership in financial services and advocacy for greater inclusion in investing.
