  • Surveying and observing fire protection and code-related installations on-site and via video
  • Completing project "punch-list" and assisting in resolving owner and contractor conflicts
  • Assisting other-discipline teammates to successfully integrate multiple disciplines into assigned projects
  • Have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Architectural or Fire Protection Engineering from an ABET EAC or TAC Accredited Program. A technical degree or certification and strong relevant experience may commensurate for Bachelor's degree
  • Being registered as a professional engineer (P.E.) having passed the fire protection engineering written examination administered by the (NCEES) is preferred OR in lieu; someone who is interested in obtaining their FPE
  • Have a minimum 5 years of Fire Code Consultancy experience
  • Possess relevant professional experience in, and a passion for Stadiums, Arenas, Airports, Sport Training Facilities, and Convention Centers to name a few
  • Have experience with AutoCAD and Revit applications
  • Possess experience with fire modeling software, such as Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS), Pathfinder, and/or CONTAM
  • Are proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • Possess successful verbal and written communication skills
  • Have comprehensive knowledge of building and fire codes, including IBC, IFC, and NFPA 101
  • Have the ability to meet fast-paced deadlines while maintaining quality design
