Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, or corporate development, ideally in the biotech or life sciences sectors
  • Strong strategic thinking with a first-principles mindset
  • Deep fluency in financial modeling and valuation
  • Experience with advanced techniques such as real options analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, or other quantitative frameworks
  • Solid understanding of capital markets, including debt structuring, royalty finance, and credit ratings
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Clear and persuasive communicator, both in writing and presentations
  • Familiarity with financial data platforms like Bloomberg or Capital IQ is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Lead financing efforts (royalty/credit/equity) and partner with banks, advisors, and internal teams to craft aligned capital solutions
  • Work with senior leadership to shape strategy through insights, scenario modeling, and evaluation of key options
  • Enhance NPV models using real options, probabilistic tools, and scenario analysis to inform capital allocation and portfolio strategy
  • Evaluate complex transactions - structured deals, royalties, asset-level trades - using rigorous modeling and market benchmarking
  • Develop and deliver sharp, data-driven presentations for executives, the Board, and investors

BridgeBio Raises $300M via Royalty Monetization

BridgeBio has secured a $300 million upfront payment by monetizing 60% of its European royalties on the first $500 million of annual BEYONTTRA net sales, with a cap of 1.45x on total payments. This deal with HealthCare Royalty and Blue Owl Capital strengthens BridgeBio's balance sheet and supports the launch of Attruby and its late-stage pipeline. Acoramidis, approved as Attruby in the U.S. and BEYONTTRA in Europe, has shown significant benefits in the ATTRibute-CM study.

Parataxis Korea's $18.5M BTC Strategy
