Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical planning, and mechanical (HVAC, Plumbing) design and construction support on various water and wastewater treatment and resource recovery projects, including projects that may include combined sewer overflow facilities, pump stations, wastewater treatment plants, and water treatment plants.
  • Prepare engineering calculations and support analysis of alternatives, and document analyses using technical memoranda, basis of design, business case evaluations, reports, etc.
  • Prepare design reports and construction plans for treatment plants and pump stations using local and state standards.
  • Prepare or assist with specifications and permit submittals.
  • Assist with or review scope, budget, and schedule of new project tasks.
  • Monitor task budget and progress.
  • Document design changes and communications.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and provide technical guidance for start-up as needed.
  • Prepare project status and other reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals.
  • Attend client, public, project and staff meetings including client progress, plan review, pre-construction, etc.
  • Maintain excellent client relations.
  • Maintain a safe working environment.
