Requirements
  • At least 3 years of quality or operations experience.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Strong ability to identify and implement best practices.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated team and empowerment skills.
  • Strong personal computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to perform the essential physical duties, with or without reasonable accommodation, including remaining stationary, walking, operating a computer and office machinery, crouching, climbing workplace or warehouse equipment, and using senses to communicate and detect hazardous conditions.
  • Ability to occasionally handle loads up to 10 pounds and 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work occasionally in unpleasant or disagreeable physical environments, around electrical hazards, and with potentially dangerous equipment.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and drive process consistency to ensure compliance with sourcing quality and qualification requirements.
  • Execute customer service projects to reduce defects and cycle time and improve fulfillment.
  • Assist in developing and implementing ISO-compliant processes for applicable business functions.
  • Conduct process audits and manage regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Drive customer quality improvements using quality dashboard metrics.
  • Manage nonconforming material, customer complaint, and corrective and preventive action processes.
  • Prepare responses to customer-issued corrective actions.
  • Lead internal and support external ISO audits.
  • Lead cost-of-quality reduction initiatives for the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Lead and track supplier and part qualifications and surveillance activities for assigned commodities or segments.
  • Monitor supplier performance, identify and drive process improvement, manage root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Partner with Procurement to establish methods for evaluating existing suppliers and approving potential suppliers through assessment screens and quality metrics.
  • Work with external customers, internal customers, and business leadership to meet goals and communicate performance.
  • Travel to offsite locations occasionally.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
