  • Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Experience developing and implementing accounting controls.
Responsibilities
  • Own and lead the month-end close process across multiple dealership locations.
  • Prepare executive financial reporting packages and management reports.
  • Reconcile and review all balance sheet accounts monthly.
  • Facilitate fixed asset accounting and depreciation reporting.
  • Manage floorplan inventory payments, including interest, curtailments, and lender requirements.
  • Prepare lender reporting packages and maintain lending compliance.
  • Lead year-end financial statement preparation and annual reporting activities.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Analyze financial trends and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Support operational leaders with financial reporting and business analysis.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members.
  • Standardize accounting processes and improve efficiencies across dealership locations.
  • Assist with inventory accounting accuracy and expense management initiatives.
  • Train dealership employees on accounting procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer, lender, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Partner with leadership to support continued company growth and profitability.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Multi-location accounting experience.
  • Dealership accounting experience.
  • Experience in public accounting.
  • CPA license.
