Job Description

Trayt is looking for a passionate Full-Stack Software Engineer to help build our digital health platforms. Trayt’s products include modern web applications built with React, a React Native mobile app, and a NodeJS API. Our Full Stack Engineers are responsible for writing, reviewing and testing code.

Ideally, you’ve got start up experience and have a desire to be part of a fast-growing team. It is important to understand that building for our medical partners requires extra care and the increased responsibility of ensuring every decision reflects this understanding.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our Product and Design teams to build great user experiences
• Develop and maintain sophisticated user interfaces using React, working extensively with the Material UI component library.
• Author and test RESTful, authenticated API endpoints in NodeJS
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Ensure that best practices are adhered to at all phases of development and deployment
• Actively participate in code reviews, pull requests in GitHub, promoting a culture of quality and shared knowledge
• Work collaboratively in a team setting as well as autonomously, handling projects responsibly from inception to completion

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience gained through relevant work experience.
• 4+ years of software development experience

• 2+ years web front-end experience: HTML, CSS, JS, ReactJS

• Experience writing unit tests

• Positive attitude and ability to laugh!
• Passion for writing readable, secure, tested code and following best practices
• Startup experience is a must
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Base salary range - $125,000 - $155,000 plus stock options
