Job Description:
Position Overview
This position is accountable for administration and maintenance of Wide and Local Area Networks (WANs/LANs), Remote Access/VPN systems, wireless networks, voice (VOIP) networks, and Internet systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for network and voice or related hardware and software, including problem tracking, troubleshooting, and end user assistance.
- Act as an escalation point to the End User Services group for all Network and Voice issues, including after hours emergencies.
- Configure, deploy, upgrade and maintain Cisco network switches, Cisco WLAN, and HPE Aruba EdgeConnect SD-WAN.
- Escalate problems to service providers as appropriate and coordinate external support and service requests to ensure proper resolution.
- Maintain network perimeter security, configuration of firewalls and other security hardware/software to protect systems and proprietary information.
- Assist with developing and maintaining Palo Alto firewall policies.
- Monitor network performance and manage bandwidth allocation for internal/external access, including Internet, LAN/WAN, and voice networks.
- Assist the Network Technology Manager with network infrastructure production environment backup and recovery projects, including the development and testing of contingency plans.
- Assist in the day to day administration of Cisco Unified Communications and Microsoft Teams calling.
- Experience in Azure deploying infrastructure and Network resources such as, Azure Expressroute, VPN, VNets, Network Security Groups, virtual firewalls.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field required
- 2-5 years’ relevant experience required
- CCNA or similar industry standard network certification preferred.
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Ability to work in and foster a team-based environment
- Critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
