Requirements
  • Ability to meet all job-related qualifications and licensing requirements.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
  • Direct care workers must complete at least 40 hours of experience or practical training and a competency evaluation, or complete a state certification program.
  • Direct care workers must complete supervised practical training before having direct contact with a consumer or provide verification of prior experience.
  • Caregivers providing Medicaid-funded personal care and home health services must enroll in and comply with Electronic Visit Verification requirements from the date of hire and maintain at least an 85% compliance rate for visits.
Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with errands, light housekeeping, meal preparation, grocery shopping, transportation, ambulation, and transfers.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, mobility assistance, and incontinence care.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors and their loved ones.
  • Provide medication reminders as needed.
  • Accurately document daily activities, health status, and client well-being in care logs.
Desired Qualifications
  • PCA, HHA, or CNA certification is preferred.
  • Strong availability is preferred.
