As an integral part of AFA Pharmacy the Pharmacist drives pharmacy operations to ensure a seamless patient experience. As a Pharmacist, you are dedicated to delivering a high-quality level of care and will lead key operational efforts at AFA Pharmacy. The base pay range for this position is $58.00 per hour

**Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual incentive plan and stock options may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.

What you get to do every day

Comprehensive review and verification of prescription orders for accuracy and completeness
Perform clinical utilization reviews and implement quality control measures to ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medications
Provide consultations and assist with medication information questions as requested by patients and providers
Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians’ workflow
Complies with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the state board of pharmacy, the drug enforcement administration, and the food and drug administration
Participate in departmental continuous improvement efforts
Other duties as assigned

What you bring to the role

At least 1-2 years of recent pharmacy experience in a high volume setting
Adaptable, flexible, and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced, and high growth environments
Analytical, creative, and can leverage data to make thoughtful and informed decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills
Demonstrate a passion for the Thirty Madison mission of expanding access to healthcare
Authorized to work in the United States
Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in Texas
Thirty Madison requires all prospective pharmacy employees who are extended an offer of employment to submit to a drug test

Physical Requirements

Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per day.
Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person communication 7-8 hours per day.
Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor.
Ability to sit or stand at a desk for 7-8 hours per day.
Ability to lift 50-60lbs.
