Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or applicable sales leadership experience.
  • Ideally 15+ years in an outside sales role within the electrical, electronic, datacom, or industrial market, with 5+ years in a sales management or leadership role with the ability to lead the performance of manufacturing sales representatives.
  • Experience in leading multi-country sales strategies to drive consistent revenue growth and market penetration.
  • Consistent track record of leading and growing sales teams across diverse regions including Europe and IMEA, with an ability to adapt to varying cultural, economic, and business dynamics.
  • The ideal candidate should have a validated history of handling revenue targets of 100+ million dollars.
  • Understanding of selling through a distribution channel model and knowledge of local market relationships and partnerships with customers, distributors, and manufacturer’s representatives (integrators/consultants, engineers, end users/OEMs).
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to leverage partnerships to drive the strategic plan, consistently aligning with organizational strategy to advance opportunities.
  • Native or bilingual German language skills, as well as an Advanced English level.
Responsibilities
  • Drive sales growth by achieving sales quotas with key accounts through direct and distribution channels.
  • Define and optimize the Go-To-Market strategy, including the mix of representative agencies, channel strategy, and key account strategy.
  • Lead the European and IMEA channel strategy working with the Strategic Distribution team and engaging with senior management of key distributors.
  • Ensure cross-functional teamwork with global product category teams, marketing, customer care, pricing, global account, and operations teams to achieve strategic goals.
  • Work with the vertical marketing team to roll out sales strategies developed for growth.
  • Ensure excellence in key sales activity by establishing regular business review cadences to ensure forecast accuracy and predictability of business results.
  • Provide regular business updates, including bowling charts, forecasts, and scorecards, to senior management.
  • Foster a collaborative team approach with open communication, problem identification, and resolution.
  • Enhance technical depth, ensure adaptable operational support, and drive process improvements.
  • Conduct annual written performance reviews for all sales representatives and/or representative agencies.
  • Resolve staffing needs and schedules to support strategic plans.
