Responsibilities
  • Prepare patient-specific oral immunotherapy capsules and allergen doses according to prescribed mixing protocols and schedules.
  • Accurately weigh, measure, and compound food allergen products using calibrated equipment.
  • Follow detailed preparation procedures to ensure dosing accuracy and patient safety.
  • Maintain organized records of mixing activities, inventory usage, expiration dates, and lot numbers.
  • Review patient-specific instructions and verify formulations before preparation.
  • Use Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and tracking tools to document production, inventory, and quality-control activities.
  • Label, package, and organize prepared oral immunotherapy materials for clinical use and patient distribution.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to leadership.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace in accordance with clinic policies.
  • Participate in quality-assurance processes by double-checking measurements and calculations for accuracy.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to support patient treatment schedules and dosing requirements.
  • Adhere to safety, infection-control, and handling procedures related to food allergen preparation.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a science or healthcare-related field, such as Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Health Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working in a laboratory, pharmacy, compounding, healthcare, manufacturing, or other highly regulated environment.
  • Experience with inventory management, quality-assurance processes, and standardized documentation.
