Requirements
  • Qualified CA (Preferred) with 2-6 years of Accounting, Audit working experience
  • Experience with Oracle R12, PIMS, SAP and Salesforce CPQ and Tasks product preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required; the ability to interact and collaborate with internal and external customers at all levels of management and staff globally
  • Skills in dealing with offshore partners and communication
  • High degree of accuracy and management of heavy workload; understanding of contributions to the overall end to end process; possess a global perspective of how functions impact the company as a whole
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft Office Products specifically Outlook, Excel, Access, and Word
  • Must be assertive to follow up on resolving issues; ability to multi-task in a fast paced and ever changing environment
  • Must be able to work independently, be accountable for processes/tasks performed, and understand when an issue should be elevated to management
  • Flexible to work in shifting schedules, primarily to match the US working hours and render overtime when there is a strong business need
Responsibilities
  • A good understanding of Accounting and Revenue recognition concepts
  • Perform analysis and provide Senior Management final monthly results for DSO, Delinquent AR, and Cash Collection
  • Proficient accounting knowledge on Bad Debt accounting and Providing process
  • Able to understand and analyse the KPI including providing KPI’s to Senior management monthly basis and Adhoc with the detailed drivers for changes in the KPI’s in comparison with Historical periods
  • Supporting Finance and Collection Team to consolidate, analyze and report Revenue data
  • Positive attitude for learning Analytical tools like Alteryx Blue prism, tableau etc to use the tools in performing day to day operational reports and Reconciliations
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc reports, as necessary
  • Strong ability to analyze and resolve issues timely and efficiently while ensuring the reporting
  • Performs backfill and support to other accountants from multiple departments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact and collaborate with internal (employees or Managers) and external customers at all levels including third parties to achieve results
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people globally supporting not only internal employees but also our external customers globally to resolve issues
  • Must be able to work independently, be accountable for processes/tasks performed, and understand when an issue should be escalated to management
  • Ability to multitask and work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Motivated to achieve objectives; may be required to take a leading position for projects and initiatives
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, with advanced level Excel and Access skills

S&P Global, Cambridge Associates and Mercer launch private markets datasets for credit and real assets

S&P Global has launched the S&P Global, Cambridge Associates, Mercer Private Markets Performance Analytics datasets, the first release from a collaboration announced in 2025. The datasets provide standardised data across thousands of funds in private credit and real assets, with private equity datasets following later in 2026. Powered by S&P Global's iLEVEL platform, the datasets use a proprietary taxonomy to standardise, aggregate and anonymise data, enabling investors to compare performance, manage risk and assess portfolio impacts. The service supports both limited partners and general partners in analysing performance and making allocation decisions. The datasets are now available globally, with use cases including portfolio monitoring, risk management and competitive insights. Future releases will include data feed APIs and integrated software solutions.

S&P Global names Firdaus Bhathena as chief technology and transformation officer

S&P Global has appointed Firdaus Bhathena as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology and Transformation Officer, effective 27 April 2026. Bhathena will lead a unified enterprise technology organisation to accelerate growth, AI capabilities and strategic transformation, reporting directly to President and CEO Martina Cheung. Bhathena joins from FIS Global, where he served as Global Chief Technology Officer, leading a team of over 24,000 colleagues responsible for technology infrastructure, software product development and data and AI innovation. S&P 500 drops below 200-day average as oil surges to $112 amid Middle East escalation

The S&P 500 fell below its 200-day moving average for the first time since May 2023 as US stocks declined on Thursday amid surging oil prices and escalating Middle East conflict. The S&P 500 dropped 0.7%, whilst the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.8% and the Nasdaq Composite slid 0.8%. Brent crude rose 4% to $112 per barrel, and West Texas Intermediate climbed nearly 1% to $97 following attacks by Iran and Israel on energy facilities in Qatar and Iran. President Donald Trump threatened retaliatory strikes if further damage occurs. Micron Technology shares fell 4% despite beating analyst expectations with revenue of $23.86 billion and adjusted earnings of $12.20 per share. Analysts attributed the decline to profit-taking.
