Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • May 2025 funding extends runway for product expansion and international growth.
  • 2026 specialty videos around ASCO and diabetic retinopathy show active content velocity.
  • Zagreb, Minneapolis, and Oakland offices support distributed hiring and lower operating concentration.

What critics are saying

  • AAOS, Medscape, and Doximity commoditize physician attention with broader brands and larger audiences.
  • Sponsored-channel dependence ties revenue to medtech and pharma marketing budgets by 2026.
  • If clinicians shift to AI-generated guidance, VuMedi's video library loses relevance fast.

What makes VuMedi unique

  • VuMedi has 600,000+ healthcare professionals and 100,000+ videos across 25 specialties.
  • Its surgeon-first library and CME focus beat generic physician social networks like Doximity.
  • The May 2025 $80M Series B validates a specialized, monetizable medical education network.
