Requirements
  • A master's degree or college/university graduation, or an equivalent combination of skills and experience.
  • At least 15 years of extensive relevant experience and expert-level field knowledge.
  • A high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in planning, organizing, and guiding extensive programs and activities.
  • Independent decision-making ability.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and training skills.
  • Ability to manage autonomous individuals, managers, and diverse groups while providing broader direction.
  • Ability to work regular core business hours in an office environment, with reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to occasionally travel between corporate offices and jobsites during work hours.
  • Ability to stand, sit, talk, hear, use hands and fingers to operate computers, telephones, and office equipment, and occasionally reach, stoop, or kneel.
  • Close-vision ability for computer work.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor compliance with corporate and project safety program requirements and interface with Safety Managers.
  • Adhere to the project schedule and orchestrate timely, quality project completion within budget.
  • Provide pertinent and trade-specific information to the general contractor in developing the project schedule.
  • Coordinate with project management regarding project budget, productivity, change orders, quality control, and customer satisfaction.
  • Execute, supervise, and maintain CPMI.
  • Lead daily and weekly scope-of-work activities.
  • Requisition, maintain, and account for tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Monitor subcontractor and major equipment supplier progress, performance, and quality of work.
  • Manage the book of business with Operations Managers across multiple projects.
  • Collaborate continuously with Operations and general contractors.
  • Ensure required permits and licenses are obtained and posted.
  • Coordinate required jurisdictional inspections.
  • Provide training, mentoring, coaching, and leadership for field personnel.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day field and shop workforce with Labor Resources.
  • Enter and maintain field workforce employee-tracking data.
  • Select field-force staff for new projects.
  • Coordinate scheduling of specialty crews, including underground and mechanical-room piping.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain prompt, punctual, and regular attendance during core business hours.
  • Support workplace safety and stop work when unsafe conditions are present, notifying supervisors so hazards can be corrected.
