Responsibilities
  • Build and Lead: Grow a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion Lean and Agile Methodologies: Establish and promote lean and agile best practices, enabling iterative development, customer-driven prioritization, and rapid adaptation to change.
  • Drive Technical Excellence: Oversee software development, DevOps, and infrastructure to ensure our platform is secure, scalable, and high-performing.
  • Define and Execute Strategy: Partner with the CTO and cross-functional leaders to shape and execute the technology roadmap.
  • Innovate in a Regulated Space: Implement best practices in software development, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance, ensuring alignment with healthcare standards.
  • Develop Leaders: Mentor engineering managers and technical leads, creating an environment where talent thrives.
  • Scale Systems and Processes: Establish frameworks and workflows that support rapid growth and operational excellence, applying lean principles to minimize waste and optimize value delivery.
  • Prioritize and Deliver: Manage engineering resources, budgets, and timelines to align with Cleerly’s strategic goals.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Product, Clinical, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment between business needs and engineering priorities.
  • Measure and Improve: Establish key performance metrics that drive continuous learning, system reliability, and operational efficiency.
Desired Qualifications
  • Understanding of Cardiology: Familiarity with coronary artery disease, plaque characterization, and the clinical implications of diagnostic imaging in cardiology.
  • Experience with Cardiology-Specific Imaging Modalities: Knowledge of CT angiography (CTA), cardiac MR, echocardiography, and relevant imaging-derived metrics (e.g., plaque volume, FFR, stenosis quantification).
  • Workflow Expertise: Direct experience working with or building products for cardiologists, radiologists, and primary care physicians managing cardiovascular risk.
  • Familiarity with clinical workflows: Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS)
  • Healthcare experience: Direct healthcare product development, especially with FDA regulated products, is highly desirable.
