Requirements
  • At least 1 year of retail management experience.
  • The physical ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, and squatting, and to climb ladders and stairs as needed.
  • The ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds regularly without assistance.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the Store Leader by directing activities required to achieve guest service, sales, operating expense, loss prevention, merchandising, associate engagement, and guest engagement goals.
  • Provide exceptional guest service through relationship building, product knowledge sharing, and maintaining a clean, well-maintained store environment.
  • Foster a guest-focused team environment and anticipate guest needs.
  • Role-model company service standards and provide timely feedback, rewards, and recognition to associates.
  • Hold associates accountable for financial results and performance standards.
  • Manage conflict, coach associates, delegate tasks, develop associates, and foster team commitment.
  • Make recommendations on hiring, promotions, and terminations based on team-member performance.
  • Meet or exceed store and individual goals and contribute to overall store goals.
  • Engage guests and make their shopping experience exceptional.
  • Co-lead floor-set and refresh management.
  • Manage and oversee scheduling, back-of-house organization, shipment and product preparation, merchandise markdowns, supply orders, maintenance, cleaning, inventory, and damages.
  • Audit and manage banking and loss-prevention systems.
  • Train new associates on operational processes.
  • Co-manage payroll and be responsible for the store's financial performance.
  • Make decisions regarding store operations and planning, and control workflow through planning and delegation.
  • Execute task directives within designated time frames and complete opening and closing procedures.
  • Adhere to loss-prevention practices and report potential incidents to protect company assets.
  • Communicate effectively with the executive team, Store Leader, District Leader, and other partners.
  • Use weekly reporting to track, analyze, and communicate business results and determine strategies to maximize sales.
  • Partner with the Visual District Leader and Visual Assistant Store Leader to oversee floorsets, window sets, fixture placement, and the overall visual environment.
  • Maintain awareness of brand aesthetic and relevance to the store environment and communicate with the team.
  • Communicate performance observations and feedback to the District Leader.
