Delta Solutions and Strategies is seeking an Information Operations Planner at Peterson AFB, CO. This position supports USSPACECOM J3X Joint Fires Element (JFE). The Information Operations Planner will provide IO organize, training & equip (OT&E) and operational planning supporting and protecting space operations for USSPACECOM J3, 5, 7, and IO with integrating Information Related Capabilities supporting the Seventh Joint Function, "Information," to influence relevant actor perceptions, behavior, action or inaction, and human and automated decision making in and through the information environment (IE) at the expert level.
What you’ll be doing:
- Produce, coordinate, and action requirements with relevant USSPACECOM/ Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff directorates to establish, fund, execute, oversee, and manage USSPACECOM MISO programs. Collaborate, resource, integrate MISO operations, activities, and investments (OAIs) with appropriate CJCS directorates, Services, Interagency, CCMDs and components.
- Coordinate with applicable USSPACECOM directorates, component commands, Services and CJCS directorates to establish, execute and manage the MILDEC OAIs and the Deception Working Group (DWG). Integrate and collaborate with appropriate CCMDs and Components for MILDEC support.
- Participate in military decision-making processes (i.e., JOPP, MDMP, etc.) and is responsible for integrating information related capabilities and non-lethal target nominations to the Joint Integrated Prioritized Target List (JIPTL) through the Joint Targeting Process. Prepare products, inputs and participate in the Joint Targeting Working Group (JTWG), Joint Targeting Coordination Board (JTCB), Commander’s Communications and Synchronization Working Group (CCSWG), Target Development Working Group (TDWG), Special Programs Working Group (SPWG) and other internal and external working groups and operational planning teams (OPTs) as directed.
- Develop measures of performance and measures of effectiveness for IO plans and CONOPs. Conduct and/or coordinate necessary assessments and present outcomes of operational effects; present to military and/or Government civilian leadership for approval. Assess pertinent operational issues found during review of technical data, strategy concepts, operations summaries, and other information relative to development and execution of assigned plans and mission areas; provide findings to the Government for decision and further action. Track and enter assessments of operations, activities, and investments (OAIs) into the Department of Defense (DoD) Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE) platform.
- Conduct with real-world ongoing IO planning, execution, synchronization, and integration by collaborating with appropriate USSPACECOM Directorates and components, CJCS Directorates, interagency partners, and CCMDs. Assist USSPACECOM J3-IO in tracking and integrating IO planning, execution and policy considerations into component, joint, and combined exercises; execute functional responsibilities for real-world and exercise events.
What you’ll need:
- Experience with Joint Integrated Prioritized Target List (JIPTL), Joint Targeting Working Group (JTWG), Joint Targeting Coordination Board (JTCB), Commander’s Communications and Synchronization Working Group (CCSWG), Target Development Working Group (TDWG), Special Programs Working Group (SPWG) and other internal and external working groups and operational planning teams (OPTs), Department of Defense (DoD) Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE) platform
- Experience with Task Management Tool (TMT)
- 8+ years of administrative support experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- TS/SCI clearance required
