Requirements
  • Experience in a customer- or client-facing environment.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel, including the ability to manipulate data.
  • Ability to interact with customers through live chat and email and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage time and organization while handling complex tasks accurately.
  • Ability to communicate complex details, concepts, and information in an easy-to-understand format.
  • High school diploma or higher.
Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries through live chat and email.
  • Diagnose and resolve customer queries related to loan applications, payments, and account updates.
  • Interpret and accurately explain company policies, financial products, and service terms to customers.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions in the customer relationship management system.
  • Prioritize and escalate unresolved or complex issues to relevant departments and follow up with customers with regular status updates.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues, such as login problems and document upload errors, and collaborate with the technology team to resolve system-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations when handling sensitive information.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and service-level agreements to meet performance benchmarks.
  • Identify recurring customer issues and share insights with operations and product teams to improve processes.
  • Suggest enhancements to frequently asked questions and knowledge base articles.
  • Promote customer retention by delivering exceptional service and building customer trust.
  • Share best practices and customer insights with colleagues to enhance team performance.
  • Participate in training sessions covering product changes, new processes, and compliance guidelines.
Desired Qualifications
  • Customer service experience in financial services, technology, or employee benefits.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management systems and G Suite.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of Treating Customers Fairly, the Data Protection Act and General Data Protection Regulation, Consumer Credit Act, and Anti-Money Laundering procedures.
