Job Summary:
Berkshire Grey’s picking solutions rely on the latest robotic technologies in the areas of vision, control logic, sensing and artificial intelligence and operate in some of the most demanding material handing environments in the world. The System QA Engineer will leverage a strong technical background in end-to-end system testing along with good analytical problem solving and communication skills to execute robust validation activities for our robotic arm picking solutions. This is a manual testing SQA position that does include some laborious activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review CONOPs, product and technical requirements to ensure they are testable
- Collaborate with cross-functional members on the definition of done and acceptance criteria
- Write/review and execute manual test cases
- Identify and document in detail hardware, software, and firmware product defects
- Deploy and Validate resolved defects
- Effectively analyze quality and testing risks for small to mid-size projects and give feedback on risks throughout the product lifecycle.
- Contribute to the scoping, planning and design process of larger projects
Ideal Candidate Must Have:
- 2 to 5 years of SQA experience in validating software, firmware, and HMIs
- Strong analytics and problem-solving skills with proven ability to communicate complex technical issues simply and convincingly to a wide range of audiences
- Strong communication skills in both spoken and written form
- Ability to adapt to project challenges in a fast paced, quickly changing environment
- Experience with Issue Tracking systems (JIRA) and Test Case Management systems (TestRail)
- Knowledge and understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)

Educational & Certification Requirements
BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics\Robotics Engineering
