Your Opportunity 

Join us at Vytalize as a Pharmacy Technician! You’ll support our Pharmacy Team in ensuring safe and effective medication use among our attributed patients. You will collaborate with clinical personnel, conduct phone consultations with patients, and help identify and resolve medication adherence barriers. You’ll also work with providers and pharmacists to create adherence plans for patients needing extra support. Your role is key in providing an excellent patient experience, communicating program specifics, and arranging prescription processing. Your goal? What you will do

• Conduct outbound calls to patients and healthcare professionals, addressing patient medications, adherence, and eliminating barriers.
• Skillfully engage patients to allow for education and support, with the goal of closing Medication related care gaps.
• Proactively remove obstacles to ensure patients receive their prescription regimens, using analysis, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Engage with healthcare professionals at all levels concerning patient medications, helping with medication refills, synchronization, or 90-day supply requests.
• Record and support patient prescription requests and needs related to medication adherence.
• Streamline and coordinate the prescription process, guaranteeing accurate processing, third-party insurance adjudication, error resolution, and preparation for patient dispensing.
• Adhere to established medication adherence workflows, including follow-ups with patients requesting enrollment and those enrolled to initiate or maintain medication regimen delivery.
• Achieve leadership-defined targets by completing daily outreach goals for patients and clinicians.
• Offer feedback and propose solutions to enhance the Pharmacy Services/medication adherence patient/client experience.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned at the Pharmacy Director’s discretion. 

What you will need

• High School Diploma or equivalent required OR additional experience above the minimum may be considered in lieu of the required education on a year-for-year basis
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician with a minimum 12 months of related work experience OR a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a medication dispensing/pharmacy setting or call center
• Pharmacy Technician certification.
• Knowledge of medications, brand/generic names, and dosage forms
• Understands standard medication adherence practices, protocols, techniques, functions, and processes.
• Possesses excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills, along with pharmaceutical calculation abilities.
• Demonstrates excellent written, verbal, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Exhibits strong organizing and prioritizing skills.
• Has strong time-management skills and attention to detail.
• Maintains a customer service mindset, remaining patient, calm, and empathetic in challenging situations.
• Capable of actively listening to and understanding patient questions, providing accurate answers or solutions.
• Able to make sound decisions and conduct follow-ups for problematic situations that may arise during the established process.
• Practices discretion and care when working with sensitive/confidential data pertaining to the patient, department, or company.
• Able to interact with all levels of internal and external parties, conveying information correctly and representing Vytalize favorably

Salary Range: $22-23/hr
