Southeastern Louisiana University's Department of Health & Human Sciences invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Counseling. Responsibilities will include teaching graduate counseling courses, advising and mentoring students, supervising practicum and/or internship classes,
engaging in scholarly activity, engaging in University/community service, and participating in all aspects of the program's administration.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Doctorate in Counselor Education from a CACREP-accredited institution (must be conferred by January 1st 2026.)
Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Professional Counselor in Louisiana.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Registered Play Therapist.
Prior teaching and advising experience.
