Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • At least one year of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling is preferred.
  • Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in an autonomous environment.
  • Reliable personal transportation that complies with company policy; public transportation and transportation from family or friends may not qualify.
  • A valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance must be maintained while employed.
  • Ability and willingness to consistently demonstrate the company's accountable, inclusive, transparent, and focused core values.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to travel to all stores within the assigned district using a personal vehicle.
  • Availability to work assigned shifts as scheduled.
Responsibilities
  • Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting product and service options that meet their needs.
  • Escalate unresolved customer issues to the store manager, District Director of Operations, or corporate office.
  • Answer telephone inquiries about general questions, customer applications, requests, and other issues.
  • Perform outbound customer sales, courtesy, and collection calls in accordance with federal regulations, store procedures, and district or regional volume expectations.
  • Respond professionally and accurately to customers, explain possible solutions, and ensure customers feel supported and valued.
  • Interact with customers using active listening to confirm or clarify information and diffuse complaints.
  • Handle and count currency, cash, and coins, including managing a cash drawer, counting deposits, moving cash from the secure safe to the cash drawer, and completing other cash-handling tasks.
  • Balance individual batch receipts with store sales reports at the end of the day and assist with resolving overage and shortage discrepancies.
  • Perform customer verifications to validate presented information.
  • Process transactions accurately and according to company policy, including loans, check cashing, and NetSpend.
  • Comply with federal and state regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Complete compliance training and quarterly I Agree requirements on time.
  • Travel to all stores within the assigned district and potentially to neighboring districts, including overnight travel when required.
