Requirements
- Basic understanding of construction activities and typical jobsite hazards
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced field environment and support multiple jobsite needs
- Ability to walk job sites, observe work, and support safety tasks throughout the day
Responsibilities
- Assist project teams with daily inspections, documentation, training support, and hazard-prevention activities to help maintain safe, well-organized, and compliant job sites
- Work closely with superintendents, project managers, trade partners, and field crews to identify hazards, support corrective actions, maintain safety records, and reinforce company and OSHA requirements
- Conduct safety talks and lead portions of site orientations; aid incident investigations; contribute to continuous improvement in project safety culture
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 30 preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or related field is a plus
- Some experience in construction, safety, or related field preferred, but strong candidates with high motivation and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
