- Lead a team of hardware designers to design and develop hardware modules for battery management systems (low voltage and high voltage)
- Define project scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation across hardware development projects
- Conduct requirement analysis and handle requirements in DOORS
- Document development processes and results (Module design document preparation, Test plan preparation, performing testing, Test report preparation)
- Perform hardware verification and support validation (LV124/ISO 16750)
- Perform FMEA and FMEDA for the developed modules’ requirements analysis/study
- Perform Monte Carlo simulations, worst case calculations, and tests to ensure functionality and quality
- Create creepage distance matrices, design electronic circuits, and review PCB layouts
- Select components using DAR and create requirements and test specifications
- Desirable: DRBFM or High Voltage testing experience would be an added advantage
- Lead design reviews and coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage PCN/PTN processes
