Requirements
  • BSc in a relevant Science field
  • Experience in a scientific, clinical or similar hands-on environment.
  • Troubleshooting skills and ability to perform maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Understanding of GLP and GDP standards.
  • Attention to detail, excellent problem-solving ability and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
  • Become proficient with over 10 types of clinical laboratory instruments and develop a deep understanding of their mechanical workings.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on all laboratory equipment and perform hands-on troubleshooting when issues arise.
  • Perform QC release analysis for Technopath products, including stability testing, bioburden analysis, and physical appearance inspections.
  • Carry out value assignment and target value testing for our diagnostic products.
  • Assist in technical investigations and respond to additional testing requests as needed.
  • Collaborate with the QC team to analyse, collate, and document QC data in compliance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and GDP (Good Documentation Practice) standards.
  • Manage inventory of QC materials, including stock monitoring, preparation of material orders, and other related tasks.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement and contribute to ongoing optimisation efforts.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the QC Manager.
