Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten years of military operational and training experience.
  • A minimum of two years of Air Operations Center-specific experience in the Combat Plans or Combat Operations Divisions.
  • A minimum of two years of experience with IBM PC/Client hardware; Windows XP and Windows 7 operating systems; C2PC; FalconView; Intel Office; Master Air Attack Plan Toolkit; Theater Air Planner; Joint Tactical Tool; Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System; Integrated Workspace System; Microsoft Visio; Microsoft Access; Adobe Photoshop; Adobe Illustrator; CorelDRAW; SharePoint; and Command and Control Weapons System Part Task Trainer software.
Responsibilities
  • Utilize Theater Battle Management Core System Theater Air Planner and Master Air Attack Plan Toolkit to create, plan, and maintain approximately 2,000 air missions for Air Operations Center training.
  • Create, modify, merge, back up, recover, and delete computer-based Air Battle Plan shells, files, and databases.
  • Create and develop databases and computer-based scenarios that accurately reflect strike missions and packages.
  • Develop Command and Control Weapons System Part Task Trainer computer-based scenarios for all Air Operations Center-specific mission types on a daily basis.
  • Build and modify computer program files and databases reflecting airspace control measures and procedures to support the Air Battle Plan on a daily basis.
  • Assist in developing and delivering planning materials for Command and Control Weapons System Part Task Trainer Air Operations Directive, Air Tasking Order, and Airspace Coordination Order software files and programming products.
  • Generate Airspace Coordination Order message files for use in Part Task Trainer and Theater Battle Management Core System unit training events on a daily basis.
  • Assist in developing planning materials for producing a daily Air Battle Plan and Air Tasking Order, including rules of engagement and the Air Operations Directive.
  • Assist in developing a master training scenario library on a daily basis.
  • Provide expertise in testing software upgrades supporting Command and Control Weapons System Part Task Trainer on a daily basis.
  • Develop and maintain realistic Red and Blue Air Operations Database environments supporting Air Operations Center Mission Qualification Training and Continuation Training programs on a daily basis.
  • Coordinate with Air Operations Center training managers to ensure Mission Qualification Training and Continuation Training Air Battle Plans, Air Tasking Orders, and Airspace Coordination Orders meet training requirements.
  • Provide on-site Command and Control Weapons System Part Task Trainer assistance and training to support scenario delivery.
