Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
- 3+ years of experience deploying and maintaining ML solutions in production
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: machine learning, recommendation systems, optimization algorithms or time series forecasting models
- Expert with scripting languages such as Python and with SQL
- Experience of demonstrating technical leadership working with teams, owning projects, defining and setting technical direction for projects
- Expertise in developing and implementing real-time bidding algorithms for DSP platforms, optimizing for both performance and scalability
- Lead the engineering efforts in scaling machine learning algorithms for real-time decision-making in the ad tech space, handling billions of requests per day
- Familiarity with AWS
Responsibilities
- Work with scientists to design, develop, and deploy scalable ML/AI algorithms addressing the problems Simulmedia is trying to solve
- Led the engineering efforts in scaling machine learning algorithms for real-time decision-making in the ad tech space, handling billions of requests per day
- Set roadmap expectations and diligently execute against them
- Own the full ML lifecycle for existing and new data science projects
- Code deliverables in tandem with the engineering team
- Constantly advocate for ML excellence
Desired Qualifications
- MS or PhD degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field
- 5+ years of machine learning related work or research
- Proficiency in Ruby
