Clearlink appoints Marc DeBevoise as Chairman and Mark Larkin as CEO to Drive the company's Strategic Evolution. Former Brightcove and CBS Interactive CEO and CNET President Reunite to Drive Strategic Evolution of the Industry-Leading Digital Services Company Behind SALT LAKE CITY & MIAMI - Foundever(R), the next-generation service leader reinventing customer experience (CX), announced new leadership at its subsidiary company Clearlink, a tech-enabled, omnichannel platform that empowers customers to make well-informed decisions around important purchases, with the appointment of digital media veterans Mark Larkin as Chief Executive Officer and Marc DeBevoise as Board Chair, effective today. Together, Larkin and DeBevoise bring more than 40 years of leadership experience in digital media transformation, brand strategy, full-funnel marketing solutions, and platform scaling to Clearlink's multi-property organization. Larkin and DeBevoise both previously held senior leadership positions at CBS Interactive, where they helped transform the company into one of the top 10 U.S. internet businesses with over 200 million monthly users, over 30 million subscribers, and over 9 billion monthly video views. Their complementary expertise, with Larkin's proven track record in content, brand transformation, and audience development, paired with DeBevoise's long history of media leadership and technical innovation in streaming technology and direct-to-consumer platforms, positions them to guide Clearlink through its next phase of growth. "Consumer behavior is evolving and the way they discover solutions, brands and products is in transition. Brands and consumers, now more than ever, need and are searching for trusted partners who can cut through the noise and deliver them to the right places. We see a tremendous opportunity to take the potent brands and incredible teams at Clearlink to the next level and deliver measurable results for our clients", said DeBevoise and Larkin in a joint statement. Clearlink operates multiple digital properties, including HighSpeedInternet.com, Reviews.org, Move.org, ThePennyHoarder, WhistleOut, and more, that empower users to make well-informed decisions around major purchases while enabling services and product providers to reach audiences at unique points in the purchase decision process. As CEO of Clearlink, Larkin brings senior leadership experience growing successful digital businesses similar to Clearlink, through overseeing all aspects of the business from editorial innovation, to product development, sales optimization, and efficient engineering management. Larkin previously served as President of CNET, where he led the brand's transformation into a comprehensive technology lifestyle platform, achieving record-setting revenue, profitability, and traffic, more than double that of its closest competitor. At Paramount (and its predecessors), Mark led CNET and also additional vertical properties across both consumer and B2B content, including ZDNet, TechRepublic, Gamespot, TV Guide, Chowhound, and more. Earlier in his career, as Vice President and General Manager of CBSnews.com, Larkin tripled traffic and more than doubled revenue while pioneering new formats in online programming. "Mark's exceptional track record speaks for itself," said DeBevoise. "During our years working together, I saw firsthand his ability to innovate, build outstanding teams, and deliver transformational growth. His unique blend of editorial excellence, operational expertise, and strategic vision makes him the ideal leader for Clearlink's next chapter." Larkin echoed the enthusiasm: "I'm thrilled to work with Marc again at such an exciting inflection point for the industry and Clearlink. Having spent over two decades building and scaling content brands that serve millions globally, we understand both the challenges and opportunities in today's content marketing landscape. With Marc's leadership across media and technology, my experience in the content marketing space, and Clearlink's solid foundation, we're well positioned to unlock the company's full potential." As Chairman, DeBevoise brings extensive executive leadership experience including most recently serving as CEO and Board Member of Brightcove, a then publicly-traded leading global streaming technology company. Prior to Brightcove, he was the Chief Digital Officer of Paramount Global (formerly ViacomCBS) and CEO of CBS Interactive (parent company of CNET), where he led the business through the mobile, social, and streaming revolutions and spearheaded the launch of multiple direct-to-consumer streaming services, including Paramount+ (formerly CBS All Access), CBSN, and CBS Sports HQ, driving the streaming business to become a multibillion-dollar digital operation.
