Requirements
  • A current, unrestricted National and/or State Certified Pharmacy Technician license is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in compliance, healthcare, quality, and/or accreditation is required.
  • Experience with ACHC and/or URAC specialty pharmacy accreditation is required.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy accreditation requirements, including ACHC and URAC Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation, is required.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted pharmacy principles, practices, and procedures is required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate using virtual tools with geographically dispersed team members is required.
  • Ability to work independently, remain self-motivated, and maintain close attention to detail with minimal errors is required.
  • Ability to work effectively in situations with limited information and moderate ambiguity is required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and interact with a wide variety of individuals is required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
  • Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills are required.
  • The employee must remain free from exclusion under OIG and SAMS Medicare/Medicaid lists.
  • The employee must complete assigned training within established timeframes and maintain regular attendance in accordance with established policies.
Responsibilities
  • Work with internal and external team members to ensure compliance with service expectations and performance goals for each pharmacy seeking or maintaining accreditation.
  • Confer with management, supervisors, and employees to identify training needs and understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and business technologies related to accreditation compliance.
  • Assist with staff training and implement processes related to accreditation standards, Continuous Quality Improvement, Performance Improvement projects, Quality Management, and accreditation compliance.
  • Prepare reports and maintain records as requested or required.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, complete associated tasks, and support regional and enterprise-level activities.
  • Maintain corporate compliance and legal board of pharmacy inspection parameters.
  • Resolve requests from internal departments, customers, audit entities, or regulatory bodies in a timely manner.
  • Monitor current processes and Standard Operating Procedures to maximize efficiency and support accreditation compliance.
  • Report allegations of impropriety to the Compliance Department promptly.
  • Comply with VytlOne's Ethical Business Conduct policy and Compliance Program.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

  • Willingness to learn Smartsheet, Confluence, and other tools as necessary is desirable.
