Requirements
  • Able to work the point-of-sale system efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Arrive at work in a clean and proper uniform and maintain a clean and neat appearance.
  • Greet customers in a friendly manner and understand all functions of the point-of-sale system.
  • Make change properly.
  • Open and close shifts, including completing all paperwork.
  • Use credit card equipment.
  • Process all sales quickly and accurately.
  • Ensure all items are properly stocked and priced correctly.
  • Read and follow directions.
  • Check in vendor deliveries.
  • Assist in ordering.
  • Understand fuel inventory reports.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and perform simple maintenance.
  • Keep the store neat and clean inside and outside.
  • Recognize problems and report them to management.
  • Be responsible for all aspects of food operations and product handling and storage while complying with food-handling guidelines and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Follow proper cooking procedures and temperature-holding requirements to maintain a clean and healthy food-service environment.
  • Store, rotate, and code-date food products with expiration dates and ensure cooked and stored products are held at proper temperatures.
  • Test food temperatures to ensure food safety and quality control.
  • Provide friendly and competent customer service.
  • Report to work in a timely manner when scheduled with regular and consistent attendance.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.
