Requirements
  • Bachelors with 10+ years of relevant industry experience, or Masters with 8+ years or PhD with 5+ years in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Python programming.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with the Linux operating system.
  • Experience with software quality assurance methodology and demonstrate a clear understanding of the role of QA in the software development life cycle.
  • Experience testing storage systems.
  • Experience using IO workload generation tools (FIO/VDBench).
  • Experience with NFS.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and execute functional test cases for Samsung High Performance Storage (SHiPS) software solution.
  • Create and execute test plans for new features.
  • Conduct both manual and automated testing.
  • Leverage internal and external test tools and frameworks for automated testing.
  • Participate in internal test tool development.
  • Report defects and manage bugs throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
