Requirements

  • Eligibility for a Kentucky medical license is required.
  • ABR certification or eligibility is required.
  • Applicants must submit a cover letter, CV or resume, and contact information for three references.
Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical interventional radiology services across three hospitals, including a Level One Trauma Center and a solid-organ transplant hospital.
  • Perform vascular and interventional procedures, including angiography, angioplasty and stent placement, oncologic interventions, gastrointestinal and genitourinary interventions, kyphoplasty, transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt procedures, computed tomography-guided and ultrasound-guided biopsies and drainages, lumbar punctures, pain interventions, and central venous access.
  • Train diagnostic radiology residents and work with the interventional radiology fellow and physician assistants.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards, trauma conferences, resident case conferences, core didactic lecture conferences, and medical school lectures.
  • Provide overnight and weekend call coverage for emergent and urgent/emergent interventions.
