What You’ll be Doing
TabaPay, the market leader for processing payments for cutting-edge Fintech companies, is looking for a mid-level frontend (or full stack) development engineer to lead the design, development and ongoing life cycle management of our core admin portal and user interface tools, plus maintain our company website.

Responsibilities
On a daily basis, the Full-Stack Engineer will be working closely with TabaPay’s product and engineering teams in a fast-paced dynamic environment to research, develop, integrate and optimize innovative payment solutions.  
•    Engineer solutions that lead to high performing and customer-centric products
•    Transform ideas and designs into modern, clean, and readable code
•    Perform as an outstanding team player, and offer technical guidance to others as needed
•    Program new payment features utilizing React and Typescript
•    Brainstorm technical solutions to support the concept/feasibility stage for new products
•    Collaborate with product on creating detailed requirements    
•    Apply technical expertise to continually improve new and existing solutions  
•    Develop and maintain high quality interfaces for our website
•    75% front-end and 25% back-end development

Requirements
Ideal Background 
•    Experience creating and developing front-end web applications, and working with design to make wireframes and mock-ups with interactive features
•    Successful track record of software development delivering client-facing solutions 
•    Proven ability to translate high level product requirements into detailed specifications  
•    Capable of working in a fast paced, dynamic environment 
•    Strong communication skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively with teams 
•    Skilled at managing multiple tasks at once and adapting to changes quickly   
•    Experience with the Scrum Agile development lifecycle process preferred 
 
Basic Qualifications 
•    BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field where software development is a key component
•    Experience in one or more of the following (or similar) languages: Javascript/React, Typescript
•    2 to 5 years of experience in software engineering
•    Prior experience developing features for portal tools
•    Heightened sense of ownership for the performance and stability of services that provide value to thousands of users
Preferred Qualifications
•    Graduated from a top tier university.  
•    Experience in the payments industry
•    Growth mindset: a desire to stretch the definition of the role and find additional ways to provide impact in a small team

 
The pay range for this position is $115,000-$125,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
