Role Description: Social Media Intern

Role Purpose:

The Social Media Intern supports the Social Media Team to develop and implement outreach and promotional campaigns to boost brand engagement and increase revenue.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns.
Create and distribute content such as social copy, images, blogs, infographics, videos, and press releases on social media.
Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars.
Collaborate with the Social Media Team to generate content ideas and stay on brand.
Assist in the creation of weekly and monthly editorial calendars.
Assist in weekly and monthly reporting on reach, engagement, and audience growth to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability.
Assist in the management of the company’s social media accounts and posts content.
Brainstorm campaign ideas.
Monitor various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Understand the Wasabi brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
Learn and become proficient on internal software systems.
Assist in creating performance reports.
Candidates for this position will have experience with LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram.
They will be a strong writer and collaborator.
They should have a multimedia background in video and graphic design.
Experience with Wordpress and interest in IT is a bonus.
