As New Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving company growth through identifying new business opportunities, building, and maintaining client relationships, and implementing strategic initiatives to expand market presence.
In addition, as a new business development manager you will develop new solutions, practices and strategies to support new long-term business growth while presenting findings, projections and recommended strategies. The new business development manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams during brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas that improve Solenis offerings with research on external market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to provide insights that inform strategic decisions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets
- Identify new market opportunities and potential customers
- Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Utilize Salesforce to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions
- Lead project management efforts for business development initiatives
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitors
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in a similar role, selling into retailers
- Strong understanding of customer relationship management and strategic planning
- Proficiency in Salesforce
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions
- 3+ years of business experience in a strategic role, with demonstrated leadership across multiple functions.
- Exceptional negotiation abilities
- Knowledge of key emerging trends and strategic mindset
- Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to dissect complex business problems and translate them into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and stakeholders effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills

The expected compensation range for this position is between $117,675.00 and $164,745.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
